On March 3, 2021 Mr Ibrahim M Jaidah held a virtual talk for over 80 attendees in collaboration with Qatar Museum’s Marchitecture initiative and Architects Hub. In his talk, our CEO and chief architect explored the artistic touch in Qatari architecture and how it manifested throughout the time.
The talk started by discussing Qatar before oil discovery exhibiting vernacular architecture and elements, later moved to the discovery of oil and its impacts and ended at contemporary architecture showcasing vital projects including Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab Mosque and World Cup stadia.
The talk included Mr Jaidah showing rare visuals from the past and sharing wealth of knowledge with the participants. They gave highly positive feedback and thanked Mr Jaidah for his insightful talk.
