The design of Al Mouj was inspired from the history of its location and the settlers who came to the North of Oman, where the mountains and the oasis, to build stone houses close to one another for safety and comfort.
The clusters of houses grew and created organic masses that were only dictated by the topography and the environment. They built the villages in the oasis like Balad Seet and Al Hamra. And from then, the fluid shapes became part of the Omani Northern spirit with its imperfect lines.
Development:
The project has 250 keys and 166 Branded Residences. It has a total of 9 restaurants offering different cuisines to choose from. It also features a 1,300m2 grand ballroom ideal for weddings and other prestigious events. There are also some meeting rooms for smaller functions.
The Shell:
Added to the cluster design to adhere to a post-modern feel of Al Mouj development combining the past and the present.
Site Location:
Carrying the spirit of the place along the centuries and into modern Oman, we designed a get-away for families and individuals that is aided by the spirit of the past and the comfort of the state-of-the art hospitality and luxury of the present. The hotel has the advantage of being in close proximity to Muscat and its airport.
