18 nos. Pre-Oil Period Heritage Buildings, Circa 1930-40s
Located in Zone 5, Central Doha, Najada Houses comprise of 18 heritage structures, that are dated in the pre-oil period of Qatar. These houses are owned by Qatar Museums, and have a huge cultural significance and historic value. Towards the north is located an old Majlis (House No. 1) and was actively used decades ago. The houses are very rich in vernacular architectural language, although they have been repaired/renovated/extended over generations.
