Dar Al Kutub has a historical and architectural significance as it was established in 1962 and considered the first public library in the Gulf region. The main library building was originally composed of one floor and later in the 1980s, a second floor was added to expand its capacity and services to the public. AEB had the privilege to renovate and rehabilitate Dar Al Kutub with the goal of providing high quality facilities, and programs and services to Doha and Qatar wide community. The aim is to deliver a quality experience to the community and visitors of the area.
